Corbin is a city of 18,000 residents located in southeastern Kentucky. Corbin is full of unique and fun attractions, on of which is a large festival held each summer in early August called NIBROC (Corbin spelled backwards) which features open-air concerts, carnival attractions, and a parade. Also in the Corbin area is Cumberland Falls State Park, the site of the only waterfall in the world to feature a regularly occurring moonbow (a rainbow produced by moonlight), which is located 19 miles to the southwest of Corbin.
And one of the cities most famous attractions is The Colonel Sanders Cafe and Museum. Sanders' Cafe, is the birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken (though not sold as the KFC/Kentucky Fried Chicken brand at the time) and is located in North Corbin. The restaurant and accompanying museum are very popular with tour groups. For outdoor enthusiast nearby Laurel River Lake, is a popular recreational site for boating, fishing, water skiing, and scuba diving. Come visit Corbin today!
